A Charleston Girls Getaway

Charleston is always a good idea, and this girls' trip with fellow content creator, Liza Kameen, was no exception! From impeccable accommodations to dreamy dining experiences and fabulous shopping, it was the perfect mix of fun & relaxation. If you’re planning a trip to Charleston with your best girls, here’s what we did!

Where We Stayed - The Dewberry

We checked into The Dewberry, and let me tell you—it was impeccable. The service was top-notch, the location was unbeatable, and every single detail felt worth every penny. If you’re looking for a hotel that blends historic charm with modern luxury, this is it.

The rooftop bar, Citrus Club, is an absolute must for a cocktail with a view, and their lobby bar is equally fantastic for a chic pre-dinner drink. While we didn’t make it to breakfast this time, I’ve had it before, and it’s definitely a treat worth indulging in.

Day One - Shopping & Indulgence

After dropping our bags, we took a quick five-minute stroll to King Street, Charleston’s premier shopping district. Our first stop? 167 Raw—one of my absolute favorites. We kicked things off with oysters on the half shell, ceviche, and a crisp glass of wine—the perfect start to a weekend in Charleston!

Fueled and ready to shop, we hit some of our must-visit boutiques:

After an afternoon of shopping, we headed back to The Dewberry to freshen up before dinner.

For pre-dinner cocktails, our friend Catherine Mann (@stuffcatlikes) took us to Seahorse Saloon, the cutest hidden gem. Then, we made our way to meet Meg (@mgm_styles) at Melfi’san intimate Italian spot that blew us away. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and every single bite was perfection.

Day Two - More Shopping & The Meal I’ll Be Dreaming About Forever

We started the morning with a little work (because balance!), then ventured to Julia Amory on the other side of King Street for more shopping. Her pieces are so timeless, yet fresh & fun, so I stocked up!

For lunch, we met up with Carey (@sibley.creative) at Basic Kitchen, which was everything. Light, fresh, and delicious, it was truly the kind of place I wish I could eat at every single day.

After looping back to a few more stores to make some final purchases (because we couldn’t stop thinking about a few pieces from the day before!), we returned to The Dewberry’s Citrus Club for a few afternoon cocktails with a view.

For our final dinner, we dined at Sorrelle, and let me tell you—I will be dreaming about this meal for the rest of my life. The caviar service alone was unlike anything I’ve ever had, served over the most decadent ball of burrata with crispy bread. We also had an amazing salad and the most delightful little ravioli bites, called Golden Pillows—absolute heaven.

Final Thoughts

Charleston is pure magic, and this trip was exactly what we needed—a mix of indulgent meals, chic shopping, and plenty of time to soak in the city’s charm. If you’re planning a girls’ trip, I highly recommend going! I wish I could move there. From The Dewberry’s luxurious vibes to the unforgettable food and fabulous boutiques, it was truly the perfect getaway.

Now, when can we go back?
